I picked up mechanics in the military, and electronics with aircraft maintenance and avionics. A trade in the military is still a good start

Most of the electronics repair guys that I know, learned their trade in the Army. If youve got 4 years, I cant think of a better way to spend it.

You have to join a welder repair firm, then take about a dozen factory courses, generally flying back and forth . Have to first, have a basic understanding of industrial electronics, and be able to logically think about a problem

    Learn to repair welding machines

I'm almost done with welding program and want to learn how to repair welding machines, but not sure where to begin. Can you point me in the right direction? And is it possible to self-teach if the person is committed?
