  • Prices for used Syncrowave 250?

I've been looking around for used water-cooled Syncrowave 250 and I couldn't find one that is less than 2,000. Shouldn't they be in 800-1,500 range, including gun and pedal?
    Thoughts?

Price relates to demand. Good machines prices are going to be high. How you come up with used values is beyond me. No demand, prices drop, won't happen on Miller machines which hold their resale value.

I don't get it, where did you get the idea you could pick up a complete water cooled 250 for $800??????????? Used equipment goes for market price, set by supply and demand,,,, if you can't find one for less than $2000, that's the market price.

To me a good used 250 would be worth $2500.00, a beat up one would be in the 1500.00 range.

Those WERE common prices about 7-8 years ago....

inflation has taken it's toll and Syncs hold their value...

you can still find those prices on older Squarewave models of other brands if you look... and are patient

Hobart Tigwaves, Lincoln Idealarc TIG, Linde and some others
              .

I got a 1992 barebones Sync 250 a few years ago for $850. With a used Coolmate 3 cooler and a new SSC pedal, probably $1,500. in total.
                Miller stuff:
                Dialarc 250 (1974)
                Syncrowave 250 (1992)
                Spot welder (Dayton badged)
