I am opening a small weld shop and I want to be moblie mig welder if needed. I know the Bobcat 250 will run the 212 and that would work for me. My question is can a Trailblazer 275 power a 252? Thanks

Probably, though the 252 has alot of electronics, that won't handle dirty power from the TB.


Ever thought of getting A SUITCASE VS FEEDER!

Your not too mobile if you have to carry around a big wire feeder. Pretty silly

I am not sure of the case (just due to the type of question) here and it depends on the nature of the work but this is often an attempt and overcoming a lack of stick skills that makes for good mobile welding.

Mt TB 251 sure wont. I used it as stick only for field welds for years. I had a fence repair job that needed mig, and it wouldn't even power my little MM 140. I ended up buying an LN25 and it has been great. Can usually find a used feeder for $500 or so.

I run my Miller Vintage all the time off a Bobcat 225 NT at the farm no problems whatsoever. My shop is off the grid and it does not know the difference. Bought a 15 foot extension cable off eBay totally pleased.

Millermatic vintage is a good old simple machine. 252 is a great machine also, but has electronics that may not like dirty power. Or dirty jobsites for that matter. Find a beat up used ln25 for $400. You'll love it, and it will last forever.

I own a shop and a couple portable welding rigs for the last 26 years, dont waste your time and money trying to power a mig, Do what alot of the guys said and put your money towards a suite case feeder, its way more versatile when using out on job sites.
