syncrowave 180 doesn't turn on

Sorry i was joking on checking the hot to ground again, hard to convey humour over the internet. I opened up the switch and one side was broken. I just tried hard wiring the connection and what do you know the machine now works. I won't use it like this obviously but now i have to find a switch.

test the switch with the power off in resistance mode, but yes we can assume that 1 leg of the switch is bad. And for the last time, WE DO NOT CHECK HOT TO GROUND, geez....

Okay checked the input power on switch from hot to hot, reading 244 vac. But the output is reading 0 from hot to hot. Power from hot to ground is 120 adter switch so is it safe to assume switch is bad? Can i try bypassing switch?

But yes I'll double check the reading from hot to hot to make sure it's not running on 110.
Just cause you have 2 120's that does not equal 240 when the 2 hots are metered, an example here, is that I'm running 208 3 phase here in my shop, it averages 212 Vac, my plug ins are 120Vac. Kinda see what I'm getting at.
So if you metered 120 on the same line, it will zero out on both hots.

Sorry mistyped 220 should have been 240.
You have a meter, why wouldn't you just read the 2 hot leads, seems really simple

120???? So phase to phase is either going to be 208 or 230 ish. Where are you getting 120?

By checking the switch and "seeing" 220 I checked both live wires and got 120 off of each. Inputs and outputs so yes I did check.

Yep, so it was born at the factory on October 10th, 2003.
Zero error codes, I know you didn't check the input and output of the on off switch, unless your in Europe where 220 exists
The serial shows me that there was a change midway in 2003, so without it I and you would be hooped on the correct diagram.

I'm away from home for the week so can't get serial but i do have the build date, it was built in 2003 if that helps?
