  • bb pipepro 350 problems

Just got a brand new bb350 and put 10 hours on it the last two days doing tie ins. Like the machine a lot except for how it starts a bead rod. A fresh rod will strike off just fine, but if I stop and restart with the same rod I have to beat the rod on the pipe to get it to light or take my hand and break the flux off like I'm trying to restart with 7018. Just wondering if that's normal for these machines? My pipepro 304 and sa200 don't have any problems restarting rods like this.

Engine likely has little torque as you bought it and never loaded it. (via a load bank) Have to take a couple boxes of 1/4" 6010, alot of scrap metal and weld till its gone.

Frig, I should have said that, unknown why Miller puts vrd to on. but its quite a popular complaint. keep on forgetting Miller even has vrd.
