Are these spray on, wipe on or dip the parts in?

could be any of the above.. but for your situation.. probably a light scrub/wipe with a scotch brite and a quick rinse with a hose.. should do it..

would expect it to be a lot faster & easier than what you are doing now

The product name I use is Aluma-Brite, same thing, acid wash. I pic it up at the local shipyard by the gallon. Easy to find online.

Hey folks,
I am looking find some sort of acid wash/clean for Aluminum for after I weld.
I am doing a brushed aluminum look and just need to clean all the weld residue and any oxidation off. Currently, I am doing it by hand with a wire brush and scotch brite pads but it is taking me too long.

A rinse with a phosphoric acid & water solution works pretty well....

followed by a clear water rinse..

standard practice in refinishing aircraft...
