help again?
I helped my son tune up 2-cyl. Honda lawn mower this summer. He tried to mow and it would surge but not shut off, would idle fine, would start to mow then surge after opened throttle.
Tore back apart & found we kinked or pinched fuel line under cover. Just our dumb mistake.
Also just had similar problem with my push mower. Found the inside of rubber fuel line went bad, got soft & curled up.
I use stay-bel & a little sea foam in them also.
Just a possibility

But when welding it begins to surge. Up and down want to die but doesn't. I had to set it at setting 8-9. To weld 3/16 - 1/4" material. Usually I use setting 3 or 4. What could be going on. I read it could be the gas air mixture. Why would it had changed in a month or so.
