  • Multimatic 200 question

Do you need the regulator and hose that comes with the Contractor TIG kit since the Multimatic already has a regulator and hose?

I use the one that came with the 200 for MIG gas (75/25) and the one that came with the contactor kit for the TIG bottle (argon). That way I don't have to swap them around when I change from MIG to TIG....

There are two separate gas inputs on the Multimatic 200 so you would have to disconnect the regulator and take off the Mig gas tank and switch to the Argon tank. Then swap the hose over to the other input.

It depends of course on how much TIGing your going to do, once a year or every day.
