The 350P was my choice about 3 months ago, found one that had 18 hrs on it, Bernard Q300, and PythonXR-A gun. Probably committed a felony when I handed over the cash. Anyway it is an awesome machine. I can run great welds but still can not get the smooth starts I like to see. Played with runin, inductance and about everything else. Would be great to hear from someone about settings for .035 solid wire on 1/8 mild steel. Factory settings seem right on except for the sputtering start ups. Also, what can I do with the Python gun? Cant find much on the use of push pull, is it basically a giant spool gun?

Also, cruzier, is there anything to do preventive wise about the contgrol boards you advise are burning out?

Seems like I got a pretty good deal, the hours are 81.61 and arc starts 3875.

Question about gas mix, the LWS carries 82/8 and not the 90/10 is there any major difference? I need to get something for spray and pulse.

No nonsense here on ground clamp. Even though it is a Lenco EG-300 ECONOMY clamp there is no copper/brass/bronze on the clamp. There is clear sign of overheating...

see, the units have to pick up the voltage to make the boards run properly. Have been to hundreds of Service calls where the customer is running the C.R.A.P. factory ground clamps. Yes I said factory CRAP. Lenco for the most part is crap as well. If you see no bronze / brass on there, its crap plain and simple. Really irritates the heck out of me. And a waste of my time.

I got all those 400 amp tweco clamps on my stuff. Still have grounding issues on my mig with machine gun starts. It gets irritating and then I throw things.

Mine is a 2007.... and the FIRST thing I did when I got it was to replace that tin clamp with a bronze Tweco.... zero problems.... for an additional $20... why quibble..??...

also extended the work lead to a full 30ft.... why have a 30ft spoolgun or 25ft push-pull with a short work/ground lead...??
but that is just me....
