  • New welder!

I am looking at a Deltaweld-452 with a D74DX feeder. Has anyone had any experience with this combo? I will probably run stainless wire on one side and mild steel on the other. Maybe some dual shield occasionally.
    Thank you.

    Welcome,

The Delta Weld series are fine machines. Definitely HEFTY! the 70 series feeders are the Rolls Royce of feeders. Nice choice. However, have you considered the 652? Is it that much more $$$?

Look at all your options: lots of cash out here. Miller offers many good options. Exactly what are you planning to fabricate? You don't have to be too specific, but these are heavy duty industrial machines built to kick ... and take names. I would say your electric company will love you.

Thanks for your reply, sorry I am slow responding but I injured my hand and have been running a little behind. I have a small welding and machine shop and I build build and repair equipment for farming , food processing ,dehydration equipment. Some stainless and some mild.

I have my new welder now and it is great!!! I now have two Linde VI-252 welders to get rid of any idea what they might be worth? Thanks for your help.

        Wayne,
It sounds like you stay busy. Congtatulatons on your new machine. I hope your hand is better. Email me a couple of pictures on your wire feeders.
I'll show them around. I really don't know their value. Maybe you can attach some sort of figure you want with the pictures.
