  • Dynasty 200 DX Used Pricing

I have the ability to pickup a mint condition 2003 pre blue lightning 200 DX. The arc counter reads 86 hours or arc time and 22000 arc starts.

Comes with pedal, 17 series torch, regulator and line and stinger and ground.

    The guy wants $2000.

    Original owner.

    Opinions on price?

The Miller rep and the Airgas rep brought a Dynasty 280 for me to try. I know why they came together. They were both needed to wrestle it out of my hands. It is a sweet machine!

BTW... you can convert a Dyn 200SD to a Dyn 200DX by replacing the front panel membrane switch...

Cruizer posted it on a thread a few years back...

Found That Thread...you might want to save it for future reference... or you might consider converting your "SD".......

So, anyway, back to the original post. How is an eleven year old welder worth almost as much as a new one? Arc starts aside, it's still eleven years old. I havent checked the prices much lately, but my benchmark for price comparsion for that unit is around $2,600 new. No extras like foot pedals or torches.

If it were me, I'd start my offer around $1,200 and quit at $1,500. FWIW.

I would check completed auctions on fleabay.....

that is a pretty good barometer of current used prices....
