  • New Welding Truck

    Hi
am putting together a new welding truck 3/4ton 4x4... will mount a utility body to hold the new Trailblazer 301g, 30A Spoolgun etc etc... plus all of the handtools and consumables that will need to be at hand... Hope to have it all sorted out and operational before the holidays... Am pretty proud of the investment in top of the line Miller equipment... and was wondering if there were available Miller stickers to show that i have a Miller Trailblazer aboard...
would be free advertising all over several counties...
    Thanks
    Heiti

I am with H80N. I'd like to know if there are any logos available. My truck has been operational for several years and it too is all top of the line Miller: 301G, 30A, 2050 plasma, XR feeder, Dynasty 200DX, etc. How about some free logos for us mobile guys? What do you think ROCK & ANDY? That's a lot of free moving billboards.

        HAWK... YOU BET!!!!!
our trucks are our "OFFICE" for us mobile guys.. we are professionals and the appearance and maintenance of them reflect on the quality of work that we do.. have seen pics of HAWK's truck.. and it is nice...hope mine turns out as well... HAWK is right on.. we would be rolling billboards.. and that would not hurt the Miller image one bit... what do ya say???
heck... the chevy dealer gives out "Heartbeat" stickers.. and those old bowties seem to be selling alright.... why not "MILLER" ????
        thanks

There are Miller and Hobart machine stickers that are available from the Miller Welding components and parts catalog. These are labels of the Miller and Hobart Logos. The largest I can find is 7.6" H x 18" L for the Miller.

            dseman,

Thanks for the information. I am hoping for some free logos from Miller for us mobile guys. I have 20,000 plus in top of the line Miller equipment and am continuing to purchase and replace equipment as the jobs require.

I know too that Heiti has somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 in Miller equipment. It would benefit Miller greatly to donate some logos for advertsing for people like us who spend and continue to spend our hard earned money in a "True Blue" fashion!

I've only got 8,000 in Miller equipment on my rig (still need a new TIG), but I want in on the rolling billboards, too!

I was kinda dissappointed when I got my Dynasty 200DX, and not sticker... Kinda like when you buy performance parts, you get a sticker with it, many people would put their stickers on their car trailors, pit boxes etc... You can't build winning cars without a good welder, and for the professional weldors, it would show they have top of the line equipment.

                  Matt,

What are you talking about? My Dynasty 200DX has the Miller logos on both sides from the factory. It's a fine machine with or without the logos! How's the aluminum tig coming along?

                  Good Luck

                    It's just nice...

to show off the stuff that you have and use. I'm just getting started, about 5.000, but I would also like to be able to display what I have, and use. I agree with you guys, that the Miller people should have big stickers to put on your vehicles.

stickers for toolboxes, truck, etc... My welder stays at home, it's too expensive to babysit. Aluminum is comming along ok, what hurts is the quality of aluminum I am practicing on, unknown alloy, and a supplier of aluminum in my town is no where to be found. Even with metal, we have low grade stuff... I should open a metal supply company.

                        Guys
just picked up the new "EQUIPMENT"... new Trailblazer 301G... 30A Spoolmatic gun.. with the turtle to adapt to the TB..(make it plug and play)... rccs-14 tig controller.... 50ft each of 2/0 cable w/stinger and ground clamp... have the truck.. am still in the decision phase on the utility body (spect the truck will get duals on the back) ...
want it all to come together now.. but reality dictates that all of this cool stuff will be set up on a smaller 4x4 as a temp measure to take care of my customers.. (and pay bills)....there is much other equipment that will go on the big truck when setup... but alas... it is not all blue... so bestin hush my mouf bout that....... bottom line...
would like to advertise my "BEST" equipment on the truck body... and that is blue.. btw... the red guys give away logos to beat the band.. could that be part of what is helping them with name recognition in motorsports????????????? or could it be satan???
my best to all of you
                        and thanks

Heiti, I can understand your frustration, but I have to disagree with you on the customer support. The Miller people have been especially good on problems I have had with my Miller equipment, even when it was my fault. I think their customer support is second to none when it comes to the equipment.

I would love to have Miller stickers to paste all over my stuff. I am just a hobby welder and I have >$5K invested in Miller equipment. Maybe if you went to your dealer and asked him to get you some, it might work. It seems like if you bought $10K worth of equipment from him, he should do the footwork on the stickers. Maybe when Andy rolls in here, he might be able to help. Don't give up - I think that you just haven't talked to the right person yet, that's all.

Let me know if you get any.....

Good luck and please post some pictures of your truck. We all like pictures of other people's stuff.....
