Propane & oil prices shoot up

On Jan. 24, 2014 I filled my 100# propane bottle, $85. Today Feb 3, 2014 I filled it again at the same place, $109. That's a 28% increase. I also saw that heating oil went from about $3.45 to $3.94 in the same time span. That just hurts.

US petroleum and gas exports are doing fine though.

The refinery i worked at just quit making propane and they were a good supplier for the NE. They found they could make more money going an extra step with the process and sell plastic pellets for the plastics market...Bob

Propane has almost doubled in price in Minnesota over the last month.

Propane is 3.20 for home delivery in Northeast Texas.
