I called my local service center and they said sounds like a control board and to bring it and they would fix it under warranty.

    Thanks for the help.

    HillTopHotRods,
It sounds like the gun is ok so it's most likely a problem on the control board inside the machine. It should be under warranty so I suggest that you get it in to your local service center to be repaired.

If your not sure where to take it you can find the nearest service center right here on the Miller web site.

If I can be of any further assistance please let me know.

I don't think it is the torch. I can hear the weld relay clicking and since I had somthing I had to get welded I was able to run the wire feed motor off my 12 volt power supply and use the torch trigger for weld power. Quite a challenge to keep in sync with two switches one for the wire feed and one for power but it got the job done. Luckly the wire speed was close enough to get the job done. Any other ideas?

Try checking the mig torch circuit. Maybe you torch switch has gotten dirty and is not making contact. If all is good there, check the plug where the torch plugs up. Try jumpering the plug. If you wire feeds with the plug jumper, the problem is in your mig torch. Try using an ohmmeter. Set it up for Rx1 and connect across you torch wires that go into you feeder plug. When you key the torch, does the meter swing full scale. If not, your torch switch is probably dirty and/or bad.

    Good Luck

    MM210 wire feed problem

My MM210 quit feeding wire yesterday. I still have weld power and if I hook 12 volts directly to the feed motor it feeds fine. My spool gun still works great just like it is supposed to. Any ideas what may be causing this?
