miller 300 pro having trouble mig welding with miller suitecase

miller suitecase will not power up. is it the miller 300 pro or the suitecase?

Annnnd what kind of suit case is it and is it a VS, or RC....

it is miller suitecase 8vs

Well either you don't have the pro 300's controller set in contactor on, or you have your 8 vs set in the wrong polarity.

i got it to work after i put the two ground clamps on. it is a lot different then a shop welder where you just flip the switch.
