  • Miller Paint

Ok I have some time on my hands right now and I was looking at my fathers old Miller 35. This thing still works like new but looks like its been in a fire or two. The front panel cleaned up good but the blue on the cover need to be redone. What is the color that miller uses on there welders and where can I buy some?

I have seen post around here before about Miller Blue paint, might have to search the forum.

However, I bought a spray can of blue at Lowes about a month ago to paint an old oxy/act cart and its really close to the same.
I never put it side by side with a Miller machine but setting across the shop
    its close enough.

Post over on wewldingweb.com. There are several threads about refurbishing Miller machines.

Here is the real deal. $12.08 /can + $10 small order fee + $7.95 shipping = $30.03/can. Or go to your LWS or do as others have suggested and "just gitt'er close."

Thanks for all your help. the safety blue is a good match so I went with that. Here is a sample I did on a HF box I had laying around, came out so good my wife talked me into selling it on eBay. Here is the link with pictures.

Its works better with the newer XL than the older one like I have but it did the job on DC, I did make a alum airsoft silencer for my son out of a used mouse can and the AC worked as well on the older one but that was the only alum a I ever TIG welded
