    Bobcat Brushes

I just recently purchased a used Bobcat 250 with 1500 plus hours. I was reading the manual and it said the brushes needed to be replaced every 500 hours. I called the previous owner and he said he had never changed the brushes. The machine welds fine and the generator works fine. Should I change the brushes and is it a lot of trouble?

Brushes are cheap. I found them cheapest on Ebay, I think I got 10 for the price of 3 from miller4less, plus free shipping.

They are a piece of cake to replace.

Never heard of brushes going out at 500 hours, 2000 hrs maybe, 3000hrs likely

You should be able to tell from the feed wire to each brush . No slack its getting time. I figured cruzier would say about 2000. But know I now.
