  • .045 drive rollers

I am planning on using .045 wire on a thicker steel project. I have .035 rollers, do I need to get the .045 rollers or will the .035 rollers work

You will want the rolls that match the wire you are using..

    For which machine??

    there are two styles....

Smaller rolls for the home hobbiest machines and larger ones for the commercial duty machines... they are not interchangable...

Yes you have to use the 045 cause you'll slip like mad. now it may be that you can flip the 035 drive rollers, and 045 will be on the other side.

I have a Ironman 230 and they make a dual .023-.045 roller which I will be ordering. Also it seems like .045 goes through the liner OK. Do I need a different liner for .023

Liners are inexpensive $15-20... while you might be able to get by without it... you will get better and more consistant results with the proper liner...
otherwise you are likely to experience some unpleasant biirdnesting..
