    Louis-

Man...I'm at the PRI show every year... That's my biggest show. I do anything motorsports related.

You welds look very nice! The only thing I would say is if this is a critical high strength joint, I would make my bead overlap tighter. Your's look great but if you get too much space at the toes of the weld, it could be a source of a crack depending on what type of load is imposed on the part. Also the further apart your beads are, the chances of crater crack are greater too.
Besides that, you beads are very nice to look at!

    Great job.

    See ya at PRI.

OK, Ill just speed up the process a bit.

Im at school now ( Purdue) and the only welders I have access to are at the shop ( www.LGMotorsports.com )

I think that I watched you run some beads at the PRI show with the dynasty. Infact, I asked you about using a 309 rod for 4130. You reccommended a Tigtectic 680, and you gave me a piece of left over rod you had with the sticker

      Ill see you this year!

      Thanks

another good rod for 4130 tube is a much cheaper ER80S-D2. It has a bit less tensil but more elongation. The coloring is not as nice either but if it's a painted part...
