The manual shows a small filter attached to the air inlet. This assembly is inside the case. A replaceable element is also listed in the Manual parts section. I contacted a local service center and was advised that if moisture is captured by this assembly, it will drain into the case area. Water draining into an area that houses electronics seems odd… Any one have any info on this??

When should the filter element be changed? It appears the outer case has to be removed for this to happen. Would this be user serviceable??

    Thanks for any info,

    GB,

The unit doesn't drain inside the unit, it drains out a hole in the bottom of the case where the filter/drain is located.
You're right...wouldn't be too smart to drain water inside a high voltage machine.
