You are correct as I recall Leif Lungstead brought the inverter technology with him when he cam over from Sweeden and did indeed work for POWCON.............. and I and Ian (who works for Arc Products now) worked for Leif with another gentlemen named Tony..........Enjoy.............Rock..............[email protected]

So will the Dynasty 200 comfortably do 1/4" aluminum w/100%argon? What is the max thickness for aluminum with 100% helium for this machine? Is thoriated tungsten acceptable for these applications or is ceriated tungsten a better choice?

HAWK...........Basically it all boils down to how fast we switch those IGBT'S in the inverters vs the 60 cycles per seconds of a transformer machine...............in a nut shell..........Rock...

I've noticed that my inverter machines have more kick per amp than the standard transformer type machines or even the engine drives. The difference is substantial on mig, tig, and even cac-a.
