Was all set up today and in the zone getting ready to lay some wire...started out wasn't getting an arc then figured out no ground clamp...duhhh...then went to flip the hood down and no hood on the head...lol...first thing I thought off was....You Know Your A Welder If...just had to share

I hate it when you're going back and forth between welding and grinding, and you go to "nod" the hood down and strike an arc and you get an eyeball full of WHITE STARS because the "shield" you nodded down was a grinding shield, not a welding shield!

Doing something stupid like when I pull off my gloves, rip off my hood to wipe the sweat off my brow. Then I grab the hot piece of aluminum I just tigged with my fingers to move it out of the way to weld the next piece. Ouch LOL.
