what engine driven welder do i need, ac/dc, dc, amp. Need new welder for farm use, needs to be compact, weld on heavy equipment in field and shop use. Help!!!

I stay on the go and work from my truck most of the time. I love the 301G Trailblazer. Its pushing 300 amps-plenty for stick, mig, flux core and gouging. For heavy metal you may enjoy the extra amps. Great for E71-T1 dual shield flux wire and deep penetration. It will really run the 1/8" and 5/32" blasting (chamfer) rods from WELCO. Great when no air for carbon arc gouging. Will also tig. Total AC/DC machine. AC output is less, but plenty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE
THE ACCESSORY LIST IS ALMOST ENDLESS. Something else to consider: If you are going to use a spool gun or think you may someday, then definitely go with the 301G-the setup cost for the weld controller to use spool gun with Bobcat is close to the cost difference between the Bobcat 225 and the Trailblazer.
I had a Bobcat 225 and liked it also. Just not enough power for heavy stuff. Also the Trailblazer has a 4 pole 3 phase arc. Here's the condensed version on that: Test drive one and you won't use anything less!!!

Hawk, you are the best!
We sell a ton of the Bobcat 250s to farms. With 10,000 watts of aux power, you should be able to weld anything and power most anything you have on the farm!
The Trailblazer is the Cadalac of engine drives with it's ability to do any weld process you need!
