I have no idea of the amperage because I was going to purchase the MillerMatic 210 today after it was demonstrasted to be able to do the welds I required. That test was cancelled when it was explained to me by someone at Miller (I wish I had written down his name- he was very helpful) explained to me that the MIG welding is not really suited to welding ,034/.049 4130 tubing. I was really disappointed--I wanted that welder!!

HI JERRY..........YOUR RIGHT NO TAPERD TIP FOR .023... MY GUESS IS BECAUSE NO ONE EVER ASKED FOR IT BEFORE........ OR IF WE EVER DID MAKE THEM WE DIDN'T SELL ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM STOCKABLE..... IF THE STOCK NON TAPERED TIP 087299 DOESN'T WORK THEN WE CAN TRY ON OF THE TAPERED .030.......... THIS MAY OR MAY NOT CREATE PROBLEMS BUT IS AN ALTERNATIVE..................176797.............. WHAT AMPERAGE ARE YOU GOING TO BE WELDING AT...........?,.....ROCK........

I want to use the M-25 gun with tapered nozzle #178386 (11/32) running.023/.025 wire. However, Miller does not supply a tapered tip for the .023/.025 wire. Can I use a straight tip with the tapered nozzle? Jerry
