We do offer some different length tips. You would be better off calling our parts department to get details. The number is 1-920-735-4505.

Yes, IMO. Carl, I don't understand why you want tip stick-out. Is it to get into narrow spaces?

    What are you asking?
Your contact tip does not have to be sticking out of the nozzle.
As long as it is not too far back inside the nozzle you should be fine and not have problems welding.

    Contact tip length

Andy I got the new tapered nozzle, 11/32"part # 178386. When installed the contact tip is .150 inch recessed. Is there a contact tip by Miller or others that is longer to get me 1/4 to 3/8 inch stick out? The factory nozzle of 1/2 inch holds the contact tip flush. This is for the M-25 gun on the 251 welder using .023inch wire. The contact tip must be .400 to .525 inch longer, I don't want to shorten the nozzle as the diameter will increase. The thread on the contact tip is 1/4-28, last resort is to machine custom tips.Any ideas? Thanks, Carl W. .......=o&o>............
