  • TIG Torch

I am looking at getting a Syncrowave 250 for doing TIG welding on my race car. What torch would you recommend? There are so many manufacturers to choose from. Is there one that is preferred by the race teams?

      Tom,
      Good question!
There are a ton of specialty torches and mfg companies. But the most common torch for motorsports projects is the WP20 size with a shorter back cap.

The reason this is a great question is, we are running a "Free Stuff" promotion on some of our products and the Syncrowave you are looking at includes a free DB20M25R torch kit which includes a 25ft 20 size torch and all the accessories to complete your welding package. It turns out to be a savings of $330!

If you are interested in learning more about the "Free Stuff" promo and the other machines that are in the promotion, check out the www.millerwelds.com home page.

      Hope this helps.
