WHAT WOULD BE THE WELD INTEGRITY IF USING LH7018 STICK ELECTRODE TO ASSEMBLE A TUBULAR FRONT END ASSEMBLY WHICH HAS 1/4 WALL 4130, 1/4 WALL DOM AND 1018 MACHINED LUGS. WILL THIS CAUSE A SIGNIFICANT INCREASE IN DISTORTION VERSUS USING TIG WITH 70-2 FILLER? I WOULD LIKE TO USE THE 7018 TO GET A FASTER BEAD FILL THAN TIG.

Stick is a hotter weld and could distort more than a controled TIG arc. With stick, your arc volts are around 30-35V at around 250A or more. This gives you about 9000watts of power. With TIG your arc volts are closer to 10V at 200 - 250A so that gives you only 2500 watts. A slower heat build up would less likely warp the material.
Hope this helps
