    hey andy thanks for the last response! is there a place online that will show how to TIG weld? im wantin to build some aluminum parts for me and my buddies enginering car at school!

    AND HOW MUCH DO YOUR RACE CARS COST AND WHAT ARE THE SPECS

    I'm not sure of any site that actually shows or teaches TIG online unless it's with involvment of a Vo-Tech school. I never had the need to look for one. Maybe some of our members can help us with this one.
    As far as car costs it varies.
    I'm doing a NASCAR Late Model for a guy now and by the time I get it done, ready to race, this one is about $47k. It's a Ford. The GM products are a little cheaper.
    Winston Cup cars, depending on if it's a Superspeedway car of not will go for anywhere between $160K and $220K MINUS motor. The man hours to do a Speedway car is tremendous and a number of on track tests are done to fine tune the Aero package of the car. There is sometimes a good bit of rework before it's right.
