MIGable materials

Everywhere I look I get a different list of materials that can be MIG welded (steel, stainless steel, 4130, 4140, aluminum, etc...). could someone once in for all give me a complete list of MIGABLE materials? Also, is the TIG process more varied in the materials it can weld?
