    Yes you can. It might not be pretty. Here's what to do:
    Put your torch in the POS terminal. This is required to get some cleaning action on the Alum.
    You may need a bigger tungsten depending on the thickness of the Alum.
    The Arc is going to be wide and a little bit hard to work with so practice first.
    Depending on the thickness, your machine might be too small. It's worth a try though.

    Aluminum welding

    I know that you can weld aluminum with a dc mig welder, so is there any way I can just melt some aluminum together with my <Maxstar 140 STR> I would just like to get some thin sheet metal welded together for the side of a project I am building.
