Someone was offering a machine to me. The serial number is lb-174522. The manual from miller states it does do 3 and 1 phase but the back of the machine says different. Was it made 3 phase to keep it from leaving a job site or something? I don't want it if is either stolen or 3 phase only.

OK, If you have 460 or 575, its 3 phase. I have a difficult time wondering why you want to run it on single phase 460 or 575.... If your somehow thinking its going to run on 230 forget it! -
I don't have 3 phase at my house and I can't use a "3 phase only" machine. It's pretty cheap but I don't want it if I can't use it . I'd imagine that miller would have put "3 and 1 phase" on the back if it could do that. But this only has what I stated above "460/575 3 phase". If you say that it is a 3 phase only machine and won't run or run properly on 1 phase, that's good enough for me. I'll just pass on it.Comment
