330 cast stainless

does anyone have any experience welding 330 cast stainless. material sizes 2 1/2''
3/8 wall round tube second piece is a solid round turned down to fit inside the tube it has to have a 1/4'' fillet welled all around.I have a 330 rolled alloys tig rod but it gives me no info. should i use ac dc HELP ME PLEASE

I have stick and mig welded thousands of feet of 330 but no TIG help. Its a high heat SS...Bob

i would stay with the dc for tig. if you have a piece of scrap run a bead on that and get your settings. ac will pump a lot more heat into the material which is usually good for some sugaring.
