1990's HF-251D-1 to new Trailblazer 302 connection question.

I have an older HF-251D-1 unit, serial number KA907981. This high freq. unit does not have the 14-pin style connection coming out of the back, to connect to my Trailblazer. The owners manual says it was an option for this unit. I can not find any current part numbers for the option.
My questions for the Tech Guys: Are the parts still available and if they are will this unit even work with the Trailblazer after the parts are installed?
