I will be welding in some patches on the uni-body frame and inner fender. I will not be able to paint the inside of the patches after I weld them in. I am wondering if there is something I can put on the patches before they are in place to help keep them from rusting on the inside?

Yup you can get a weld thru primer just for that. TP Tools and Eastwoods both have it and maybe your local parts store...Bob

I haven't used it but saw really good results with epoxy primer in that situation. Almost no scorching on back side.

Stopped at O'Reilly's Auto Parts and the weldable primer is $37 so I might try the epoxy.
        Thanks for the help.
