Hello i am new to the forum but thought someone might help me out here. we are cutting and welding a lot of 12 inch steel pipe and we are wanting a pipe guide used for marking your pipe for cutting off square on the end. we have seen them and have some for smaller pipe , 2" and 4' pipe etc . but we cannot find one for a 12 inch pipe. does anyone know if they offer a guide for this size pipe ? thank you .

I have a big roll of single ply sheet cardboard about a foot wide and use it for all kinds of patterns as well as some nice white sheet stock in rectangular. Make all kinds of parrterns and save them.

thanks to all who replied. what we are looking for is the spring loaded type that clamps around your pipe, we have been using the soft wrap type but it tends to get off a little bit. the spring loaded type that clamp around the pipe work great on small pipe. i was hoping they made one for 12 inch pipe ?

                12 inch pipe guide

I cut 12" pipe all the time ..... All you need is a bevel cutter you can put a torch or plazma cutter in it and if you don't want a bevel cut it strait ... Or doesn't your shop have a stationary band saw ? And if you are really doing it the poor boy way just throw your wrap around on the pipe use a soapstone and cut it ain't rocket science if your really having trouble with a wrap around cut a four inch wide strip of tin that is long enough to go around pipe .......: I just got to stop in sorry my gut says somewhere there must be skilled enough to use a stardard wrap around and soapstone if not .... Well I don't know what too say the doc of pipe is speachless

If your wrap is long enough to double over itself you can SEE if it's off because the edges don't match.

If you are doing a lot of pipe, I'd buy a beveller since they save time and time is money.

                      12 inch pipe guide

The magnet wrap atriums sucks it gets grinding dust and crap on it plus the pipe gets kinda warm from time to time from cutting with saw or torch and the magnet rubber wrap around wl melt in two ......, like I said if you can't give a guy a standard lee wrap around a tape and a soapstone fire his *** it like we're building rockets for NASA
