Q. I have to section the driver's side of my 1968 Camaro, and need to know what would be the strongest weld. I am sectioning the entire area from rocker panel to firewall. (Submitted by: Miguel Fernandez from Unknown Parts)
A. Wow, sounds like a lot of work! Anytime you can overlap slightly and weld from both sides would be great. However, I know this can't always be done. If you can flange fit the replacement panels, drilling 3/32" holes about every inch or so to plug/spot weld and also weld the seam, you should have a great repair. Have fun and good luck!
