    Dynasty 300dx stopped functioning

    Dynasty300dx built in 1999, excellent machine i have used it everyday for 5-6 years.
    Problem, in either AC or DC tig mode, when i press the foot peddle, its changes the either tig process to stick function when the peddle is depressed. I let off it changes back to tig mode. All the displays work and menus.
    MM 130 110v Mig
    Spectrum Cutmate 300 110v/240v Plasma
    Syncrowave 250 Tig, oldie but welds nice
    Dynasty 300 DX Tig, very nice machine, AC doesn't start most of the time

    She's got a display board issue, and thats the only part I don't have for a 300dx...

    Have you tried a reset?

      Reset??? Other then un plugging and plugging back in. No..

        Ahhh, then read your owners manual and do one then. Otherwise your display board is hooped.

          I will try today, finally found the info for this old welder! Never came with a manual And it was totally different then the one on their site

              Yeah i got that printed last night. The manual i had was for the latest model of the dynasty, not the unit i have which was manufactured in 1999
