cool belt
Hey have you been using your cool belt; and how has it been working for you? Is your hood removable so you can go from a hood to a face shield?

The weather here has not heated up so I really have not been able to properly evaluate the CoolBand.
Time will tell.

I would say on a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the cool band as a 6 or 7. It is really nice when you are in a hot environment to have the extra air in your helmet. It does lower your temperature inside your helmet and will reduce operator fatigue but given that I had an issue with 5% of the product we purchased I would have to take a few points off.
I will say that Miller did fully back their product and gave immediate replacement of the failed units, so that is a huge plus.

cool band
A guy I used to work with had one he did not like it. He said it dried his eyes out but he wore contacts also. I thought it worked pretty good for it's size and will probably buy one this summer

do a review search on the web or be the first to report on the item. miller is not exactly well known for making junk.

no one has bought one of these products from miller ?
i wish the local supply shop would rent them out for trial before actually having to purchase a unit and find out they are not that good.
thanks
