I just put a new throtle sylinoid and a new voltage regulator on my miller legend 200le and im getting sparks from the voltage regulator can anyone help me and tell me what might be going on?

Anyways getting back to the post, the voltage reg needs to be grounded to the engine. there is a strap that is supposed to ground the reg to the engine.
