    starting a buisness

I am 16 years old and i am looking to start my own buisness of some sort. something like small repair and things like that. i recently bought a thermal arc 181i its sweet and i run it off a bobcat 250 welder/generator. i am certified stick 7018 vertical and mig .035 vertical and soon going for flux and all tig i hope to get it all one day, but i really want to start now i have all my own tools and equipment and in the process of building a trailer. but where do i start? i have no idea how to get my name out there and i dont even know if i have all the licensing for any of this if you need any and what to do or where to go. need some advice. and also if i should get into a partnership or work solo what would be better.

Now please be gentle... our cartoonist is very very sensitive... able to dish it out just fine but his little head seemed to explode when he was on the recieving end.....
it was comical.... hurling silly insults then running back and editing them out... then doing the same thing all over again repeatedly.... like a panicked mouse....

wonder if he thought about the fact that all of his internet adventuring while at work is duly recorded in the backup files of his employers server??. .

Maybe he tired of reading the cartoon makers irrelevant crap. And he actually thinks he's "calling BS".
Call BS on a cartoon forum, maybe you'll have a tiny bit of credibility there. And lecturing people about "bad business decisions"? When the biggest business decision you've ever made in your life is which bank to cash your paycheck at or what grocery store to buy arrugula?
Good grief, give me a break. Construction unemployment in some segments is 40%. I hope the economy improves soon, but not before cartoon makers are rioting in the streets, hungry, getting pepper sprayed by the cops. Now THAT would make a funny cartoon.

Here is a link in case anybody has been bothered by some of the comments made on this thread .....

    http://www.specialolympics.org/#

Make a nice little donation and clear your conscience. Even if you don't need to make amends, it's the end of the year anyway, you only have a few more days to give a little before "O" takes it and spreads it elsewhere. Tax deductible, and they take credit cards. You can also find out how to volunteer if you wish. Make some PEOPLE very happy, see the smiles, better than wasting your time having a hissy fit on the interweb.

If you ever go to a Special Olympics event you'll see more class and heart that is shown in this thread. And a lot more smiles.
Using the "retarded" term is about as cool as using the "n" term.

    JT

Difference being, if you throw the "n" term at a man you'll probably be involved in a fist fight.
Throw the "retarded" word at someone facing difficulties, that they have no control over, and you likely won't have to come to blows. You'll just be a creep that picks on targets that won't break your bones.

You boys need to behave, you seem to have lost all sense of humor.

Personally I love cartoons and watch many animated products what with two little ones in my house.

    Just a suggestion,

    "cube farm hack"

Those were your words and sounds like you pegged it.... he can type fast but is unable to contribute a useful thought.... more than willing to give opinions on subjects where he has ZERO knowledge.... and furthermore is suspected of wearing Prep-H as lipstick.........

A cartoon maker telling me all about "poor business decisions". That's a new one.

And then telling me he's never had the balls to actually start a business.

    Only on the web.

I'll bet he has a jam up bug out shelter tho.
