I thought the Aerowave was new around '98.

We had one at a boatyard that was purchased in '99. It worked really well on aluminum.

had heard several stories that suggest a joint development between Miller and Boeing during the 70s with production beginning in the 80s but the earliest serial numbers that I have been given for an Aerowave are about 1997....
Would love to get the real story......

There's a technical manual for sale on Amazon - dated April 1996 effective with serial # KD494981.

            Aerowave brochure/spec sheet August 1997:

They filed for a trademark for Aerowave on September 16, 1992
            Miller stuff:
            Dialarc 250 (1974)
            Syncrowave 250 (1992)
            Spot welder (Dayton badged)

I dont know when they started but im pretty sure the one i use everyday at work is a 1992, ill have to check again. When did they quit? I always thought they quit at mid to late 90s not started. All i do know is i love that machine and prefer it over anything else ive ever used for aluminum.

That's OK... there are still quite a few Aerowaves out there...

and they have a very loyal ... if not cultlike following...

For Me...... My Dynasty 350DX Tigrunner fits the bill...

Finest TIG welder I have ever operated....

(Many people say.... the Dynasty 350 is EVEN BETTER.. than an Aerowave.. )
