Not EXACTLY sure what I am looking for but I am looking for possibly a quarter turn/quick connect fitting. I'll try to explain what I am doing. Take 2 10" pieces of 4"x4" 1/4"wall tubing with a 1" plate welded on one end of each. The other end will have a piece of 1/4" plate capping the end. The 1/4" capped ends of each tube need to be able to be connected and disconnected rather quickly without tools , yet also feel as one when they are connected together. ultimately the pressure should be applied from 1/4" plate to 1/4" plate with a seperate fitting/mechanism/assembly to secure/tighten(if needed) them. Any thoughts? Thx.Dave
