  • Spam in the listings

These spammers are getting better. They used to have stupid names and were easy to pick out. Now they have normal names and ask normal questions then get good answers from you guys. Then a few days or a week later they come back and modify the orig post and add the spam. By now its buried and we can't see all of them. So please help out and click the red triangle in the lower lh corner when you see the modified listing or any other spam for that matter. Thanks...Bob

They are at work, in China they are called trade operators. They post the links in hoping somebody will clink on it and they get paid. Some get paid just for posting a certain number of posts on forums.
Thank all the lawyers, real estate and heating and AC companies that use their services.
Then there are the PPC's Pills, **** and Casino's where the money is.
Here is an interview with an English spammer

Most are trying to earn their bowl of rice.
Some companies in the US and Canada, now have a policy of employee's not sitting around and surfing the net on the company dime! Some companies require that the employee's post a certain number of posts per day, in forums related to the field of product or work that the company does.

It is the new form of cold calls. They also have people that send the emails to the membership lists 1 member at a time by the copy and paste method.

What irritates me the most is the legends in their own minds that post stuff on forums that are just trying to get you to go to their own web sites and by their products. As a so call auto TV star that was writing a book on plasma cutting, and wanted input last year. What a jerk first very few people every heard of him( it isn't JJ) and it would be a very short book as what can you say about plasma cutters and how to use them. That would take more than 50 pages.

The amazing thing is people still buy pills on line from foreign countries, gamble on offshore casino's and gladly give their credit card info. To web sites in Russia, and all the other rip-off's because they think they are getting a good deal!

Greedy is still greed as it has been said since the first caveman gave the first cave woman a meal, baby there ain't no free lunch!

                          New spammer

I think there is a new spammer named Magnus 2. He has a post on welding projects titled Furniture Manufacturer that does not read right. And a reply under discussions that sound stupid too. I may be wrong about this, but I think someone should take a closer look at him. I tried to PM Admin twice but I don't think it went thru.

                              Reporting spam

to report a spam there is a hot button at the bottom left of each message... it is a little black triangular warning sign with an exclamation in the middle like the attachment only black and white...
