9018 B3L Stick Rod

Would anyone know what kind of metal or application a 9018 B3L stick rod would be used to weld it with.?
(I found a couple buckets of them trashed at the refinery I work)

2.25% Chromium, 1% Molybdenum steel common in boiler work. Its a low hydrogen type rod.

P22 pipe, I've seen alot of it in powerhouses on steam piping.

T22, boiler tubes along with P22. 8018 b3L is used on 1 1/4 cr 1 moly. 2 1/4
chrome found through out the high energy piping, and superheat pendents with
associated headers and safety / relief valves.

9018 is specified by Manitowoc to be used in replacement of boom lacings in their cranes

Just because it calls for a 9018 doesn't mean it's calling for a 9018 B3L. Two different animals. Most stuff with chrome in it is meant for high service temps.
