  • Big Blue® 350 PipePro® question:

Is the "dual power" an available add-on option for the Big Blue® 350 PipePro®?

On the PipePro304 it's an option.

Being able to plug in and fab parts at the shop, and then drive out and install parts with the same machine + same settings is a GREAT idea.

I'm in the market for a new engine drive and really like the new Big Blue® 350 PipePro®, but pretty much need the dual power option. If it has the option I'd go down and order one next week!

No as the Pipepro 450, does NOT have an internal inverter assembly like the 304, basically its comparable to a Lincoln Vantage 400. The 450 does have a much better engine though

If you want the same arc, settings, etc in the shop and field, get an XMT, plug it into shop power in the shop and run it from any 8KW or more welding generator of your choice in the field. I run my XMT from my Bobcat.
