  • AES Membership

Is anybody here a AWS member? Do you find it beneficial? I am considering joining if it is worth while for me and my business. I see there are some discounts and some other small things that come along with the membership. I am just wondering what else others are getting out of it.

The biggest interest I have right now is I would like to get my D1.1 cert with the hopes it will bring in some more work. I know I can get that without the membership but it seems beneficial to join and have other members as resources.

    no longer a member...

I was an AWS member for a long time.... dropped out about 5years ago..... they were much more interested in automated industrial process that what us little guys might be up to.... the small operator was invisible to them... for me the $75 a year was better spent on tungstens....
