I feel your pain. It gets a little toasty in Houston as well. I've learned to live with it as best as possible over the years. I'm just not cut out for a career in a cubicle.
B.T.W. Gatoraide is really bad in the heat, has as much sugar as a soda. Try Pedalite. It's made to rehydrate sick infants; works pretty well on adults too.Sometimes there's no second chances.

Wear/carry/use what you want
My version of the guys giving me crap over whatever is to give it right back. I usually say "If you were man enough to stand on your own two feet and do what you want and not worry about what kind of crap the rest of them give you, you could do what you want." The thing is, if whatever you do seems to be better or working well, the rest of them will be doing the same thing pretty soon. And that means ESPECIALLY the guys that gave you the most grief about whatever it is/was. ****, I'd wear women's panties instead of gloves if that seemed to work better for some reason!Don J

Never pick a fight with an old guy. Old guys are too smart to fight and get hurt. They'll just kill you and get it over with.

Whatever they were digging was real important to the war effort,
but the underground mine was so hot, the miners ended up working naked.
I don't know if it helped keep them cool or not.........
Maybe they just liked digging tunnels without any clothes on--- I never heard.
But that might work for you guys up there in Arkansas--
and what the heck, it don't cost much to try it.
