That's just a certain poster, carrying parts home to build his roll cage.
It does appear that he has the "trailer" loaded so that he has enough tongue weight.Syncrowave 250 DX Tigrunner

I see a lot of that kind of stuff in my neck of the woods. My favorites were the Nissan truck ( little one, not full sized.) with a full pallet of tile in the bed and the 70's Ford F-250 that had been overloaded so badly that the frame was bent in a V shape. Both on the road driving. Sorry, don't have pics.Sometimes there's no second chances.

He is rigged and ready for interstate travel.
I had a woman come that wanted a drop hitch mounted to her existing bumper hitch. Rusted out 78 F100 with one working brake, seen this because that wheel skidded as she slow down for the driveway, she is gonna hook a 4 horse trailer on this thing. Whining thats the best she can afford, I send her packing with the promise if I ever see anything hooked to this pc of **** I am calling the state trooper. She was planning on hooking 10K trailer on and going across the state to horse shows. Truck wasn't safe empty at 30 mph.

Sberry,
What'd she look like.
Good enough. I'm sure we could have "worked something out".
If she was a "10" she could borrow my truck with the hitch already installed.Syncrowave 250 DX Tigrunner

She was a dumb bich that spent every last dime she could scrape together on fricken horses, I had already decided pretty much that I didn't care if I got laid on this deal anyway so,,, she would have had to be at least 8 vs the 4 or so she was.

I saw a collapsed tandem axle trailer on Saturday afternoon.
The guy was in downtown Stockton waiting at a light next to the on ramp for I-5. A couple hundred feet more and he could've been on the interstate. He obviously made an A frame hitch but just welded the angle to the front of the trailer. His hitch didn't seem to extend under the trailer at all. The hitch collapsed at the stop light and the front of his trailer was sitting on the ground. His hitch was still on the ball too. Safety chains would have done nothing except stop his 2 pcs of angle from flying down the freeway.Last edited by deafman; 07-26-2010, 07:12 PM.

I did that once -- was a 90-something frontier. 4 cylinder too...
When they put the load in the back, it was abit behind
the rear axle. The headlights were pointing at the ceiling.
I asked the forklift driver to push the stuff forward a bit.
He thought that might be a good idea. I ended up feeling
every pebble and grain of sand on the road... Fortunately
I had only 2 or three miles to go, and it was night, so i could
go on local roads, slowly... Ended up giving the truck to my
stepson, and it finally failed beyond being worth keeping
and repairing just this past October...
The real pain in the a.. was that it was a January night. One of the
coldest and windiest Januaries we'd had for quite some time. Carrying
all that tile, one box at a time, into the house we were remodelling,
over the snow and ice that was piled up... Brrrrrrrrr....

The fella where we bought our truck from told us about another dealer that had sold a mom and her daughter a cute suv for pulling their horse trailer. Told them all about how it was built like a truck yet rode like a car and got great fuel mileage. He was even nice enough to have a hitch installed on it before they bought it. For some reason the factory didn't see fit to put one on it.
Worked fine for the local shows on the local roads. Then they ventured a little further in the rain. Nobody's real sure how the rig stayed upright when it hit the median. Ended up in a strange little contortion facing the wrong direction.
He found them a SRW 1 ton. Told me that he called the other dealer and had a discussion about selling policies. And if you knew Joe you sure enough wouldn't have wanted be on the other end of that little chat.
