I will say that used 350s come up rarely. Used 700s almost never.

If you really have a need for a 350 vs. a 300, your best price is the online venders at like Ebay.

However, if you really need that kind of machine, you might want to consider having a close relationship with the LWS from a support aspect.

Personally, if you need portability, get the 200 instead. If you want water cooled etc. I would suggest that the 300 would be better ( a bit less portable than the 200).

For big stuff, use a MIG.

          But if you insist:

Im not a fan of the 300. Lots of issues. Our one at work eats motherboards like you and I eat breakfast. Wonder why Miller stopped making this unit?
Any known issues with the newer models?
I too am in the market for a 350. Have considered the 200DX, but think that im going to get the 350 for the added abilitiy of welding Aluminum.

I'm not sure if there is a reliability issue with the 300DX. I have not seen or heard of any. I'm guessing Miller quit making the Dynasty 300DX because it was taking sales away from the Dynasty 350DX.

I have had very little problems with the 300 series of the maxstar and dynasty machines. The 350's have issues. I am not sold on them yet.
