$200 bucks for a 42" ..........great! I have a 30" and I like it for what it is. I got it at tractor supply co. It has two handles which most come with only one.
      I assume it's a finger brake.
I picked up a 48" 16 ga finger brake a few weeks back for a good price. Ya just need more than one way the bend metal.o

Well I'm Not sure that 200.00 was a great deal

But I got my eye on a 6' break rite now setting in a salvage yard that looks in good condition that they haven’t used in a few years, talked to one of the workers there about it but have to wait on the owner to get back after the new year before I can find out if it's for sale and what he will want for it.

The one I picked up today will do the little stuff I want to do with it easily enough mainly 26 Ga. Now to find some copper sheets but that’s after I get this thing all figured out

Now I just got to get it off the truck some time tomorrow and in to the shop and back on its stand that’s the biggest challenge for now.

Do you think you could really bend 48" of 16 ga.?

Could you bend up a 1/2 inch flange at 90 deg and then an inch further in bend another 90 degrees. Like you would see at the front edge of a countertop.

My brake is ENCO. Normally sells for $560 but is on sale now for $499. I don't know about 16 ga the full length. I doubt it but it also depends on what the material is. Copper, aluminum........probably. Steel....not sure. This brake can do 3" deep.
